Σκοτώνουν τα αδέσποτα που παραμένουν για μεγάλο διάστημα σε καταφύγια ;

Η "ασυλοποίηση" αδέσποτων οικόσιτων ζώων κρίνεται αναγκαία, μιας και πρόκειται για μια λύση που προσωρινά τους δίνει προστασία και φροντίδα ή ιατρική βοήθεια, όταν αυτό κριθεί απαραίτητο. Τί γίνεται όμως όταν η φιλοξενία των ζώων σε κλούβες καταφυγίων - για κάποιους λόγους - γίνεται μόνιμη και δεν επιστρέφουν στην περιπλάνηση τους στους δρόμους ή δεν υιοθετηθούν από ανάδοχους ζωόφιλους;

i think that the RSPCA should not put down animals that have been at the RSPCA for "to long". i think its wrong. every animal deserves a good home. it should not be put down. its not its fault that its owners dont want it any more. i think that the RSPCA shouldn't kill them because every animal can find a home, it just takes time for the right person to come along. please sighn this pertition. i will hand it in personaly to the RSPCA. please!

The RSPCA do not seem to give many animals a chance & decide to kill them rather than search for a new home. There are too many animals & too few potential homes but other animal rescue centres make more effort to save & not kill animals. CINDY the elderly dog ( as seen on tv) should not have been killed. The RSPCA will not get any donations from me or anyone else who is aware of their quick kill policy.

Animal Rights...why should someone decide that they have the right to kill an animal simply because it is overcrowding the shelter?

Think about it people if you are to have a baby you may be too young or not in the right situation and what do you do you adopt your baby to a better home and if no one wants them then what? killing an unwanted animal is almost like killing an unwanted child and the phrase "unwanted" is not a good way to put it what they class as unwanted is really something that has not been realised by the right person. killing animals is not what the rspca is there for i thought that they were there to protect the animals not kill them remember what is important .

why kill a defenceless cat or dog, someone will eventually adopt them, think about it...

Και βέβαια τα σκοτώνουν. Τώρα το ανακαλύψατε εσείς ; Πόσα μπορούν να κρατήσουν και για πόσο καιρό;
